Dear Friends,

Deep exhale … what a day!  Huge thanks to everyone who came out and made the 6th Annual Steinyfest such a success.

Seeing hundreds of people come together for a full day of music, food, and community reminds me of why we started this whole thing in the first place.  I’m grateful to have your support for our efforts and help create a special experience.

Steinyfest has always been about discovery — about finding new sounds, meeting new people, and celebrating the joy of live music. This year, more than ever, I think we truly lived up to our tagline: “Find Your Next Favorite Band.”

Each of the artists brought a special sparkle to the day: thank you for sharing your music and your spirit with us.. There was a collective creative spirit that started with our impressive local talent Stink Floyd, Sumerfeet, Eli Maxwell, The Wild Life, which set the stage for an explosive afternoon started by the groovy Blue Light Bandits, into the fire cracker Amelia Day, to the rock and roll of Sid Simons, capped off by Theo Katzman and his band with the 10goodsongs family.  Every performance was special, and I heard several lively “who was your favorite” discussions.

I want to extend special thanks to the core team who makes Steinyfest possible: Mia Steinberg for your vision, design, and all-around magic; Mickey Glauber for your calm presence and constant problem-solving; Pam “Pamnation” Condron for your dedication to creating a space where artists feel inspired;  Lisa Glauber for getting us on the social media map, Rachel Kahan for turning into a superhero with a clipboard. Thanks for helping make a special thing happen. And of course, to Jill Steinberg and Josie Steinberg, who have supported this wild idea from the beginning, thank you for letting our backyard dream grow into a full-blown festival.

To our volunteers: you’re the heartbeat of Steinyfest. You made everything smoother and brighter from setup to teardown, ticketing to merch, hospitality to bartending. To our vendors: thanks for keeping everyone fed, hydrated, and happy — you helped turn the day into a real community experience. And finally, to our sponsors — Toyota City of Mamaroneck, Derek Moore Real Estate, Halo Kinetic, Rothmans, Window World Westchester, Future Commerce, Sun Cruiser, Aysnd, WFUV  — your partnership helps us keep this independent festival thriving and growing.

Looking around at Steinyfest each year, I see more than a crowd. I see a community of people who care about music, creativity, and each other. That’s what makes this so special — and why I can’t wait to do it all again next year.

With gratitude and love,
Greg “Steiny” Steinberg
